I must disclaim here that I came across the term triangulation by pure accident!

As I sought to know more, I discovered that in the context of relationships and personality dynamics, triangulation is a negative trait . Eager to ensure that I am not found wanting, I decided to learn about it for my own safety.

I read that triangulation in this sense, refers to a manipulative behavior where someone involves a third party in a conflict, conversation or relationship to gain power, control, or leverage.

If this strategy is where some actors thrive, then an ethically sound organization is not their home! The world could be made much better if we did our best to avoid such tendencies.
