Recently, I was privileged to be amongst the audience in a discussion on personal branding.

What struck me about the presentation was the proposal that one must conduct a personal audit of themselves as they develop their brand. The brutal honesty that the speaker referred to was a demonstration of the need for one to break those walls that are resident and a hindrance within ourselves. They drive us to make choices as to what our personal brand is and what it is not; what we will tolerate and will not tolerate as a personal brand. In short, the search for authenticity.
