AS WE LEARN TO IGNITE

What does it take for us to prove ourselves quickly? What can we do for those in authority to see us as the ones they need? Do we have to laugh the loudest at the leader’s not so funny jokes or oblige their uninformed directives without question so we can be seen to make the impossible, possible?

Proving oneself can either be a headache or the pain killer. Asking ourselves what our long term plan for success is, can inform our behavior towards it. With most professions, a number of things can influence a decision that endorses an actor for performance. Experience, willingness to learn, emotional and ethical intelligence, innovation, skill and so on are some examples.

Sometimes we tend to be impatient and want to hastily prove ourselves at whatever cost. We must remember that some people around us can see right through our desperation and haste, and may not see us as formidable contenders.

Inspired by the need for people to have guided ambition.
