The danger of lack of self awareness and monitoring is more real than some of us care to think.

A person who is not self aware is incapable of identifying their points of strength or weakness and as a result, deprive themselves the opportunity to excel on their strengths or turn around their fortunes by intentionally addressing weaknesses. They are also unable to “ read the room” and fail to tone their behaviour accordingly. An otherwise great resource can go horribly wrong simply because they have no sense to look inward to bring out the best of themselves.
