Knowledgeable, eager to share and learn from others, solution and progress oriented…but negatively perceived as arrogant, a show off and opportunist.

Shock, dispointment and confusion may reign in one’s mind, especially if their intentions were nothing but good.

In the event that your approach or contributions are landing on rocks it may be time to make a move. The question is, move to where?

Recently, someone told me that sometimes it takes generations for culture and attitudes alike to change and one must ask themselves whether they have generations of time to wait to be finally understood in one location. As human beings, maybe not, and that is the cue.

Try as much as possible to contribute your best but do not allow anyone to kill your passion. There may be other platforms where your style and approach may be appreciated. Intentionally seek out the opportunities that will take you towards actualisation of your vision. Never let naysayers dominate your growth trajectory… move… and sometimes it means moving on or indeed moving out of toxicity.

The cry of someone who is seen as requiring little or no help, can be less heard and may need self motivation to dry the tears and pick up.

Shine! You are going places… just be aware that some good things don’t come easy!
